A view of the full-sized section mock-up of the turret of the battleship HMS 'Victoria' (1887) in the Armstrong Gallery, Royal Naval Exhibition, Chelsea. The display shows the mounted 110-ton gun on a hydraulic carriage mounted on a slide beam. The gun was mocked-up in plaster, 5 1/2 tons of wood and half a ton of steel. A rating is standing by the slide beam.
