Hermes (1953)

Scale 1:288. An ozatrace copy of a plan, showing the No. 2 [gallery] and No. 3 [hangar] decks, as fitted for the Centaur class light fleet aircraft carrier Hermes (1953). This drawing was made during the vessel's conversion to a Landing Platform Helicopter and shows the incident board for N.B.C. [nuclear, biological and chemical] protection officers. This board would be lit up with different lights indicating if an area is affected by either nuclear, biological or chemical contaminants. This drawing also contains with modifications made at Devonport Dockyard during its 1976 refit.
