View of Charlton Church and an unidentified mansion behind

Mounted with PAF2844-PAF2878, PAF2880-PAF2927.; Page number 36. The house was previously identfied as the Post House Hotel, but while the inn sign on the right refers to that still-existing building (now the Bugle Horn), it is in fact out of sight round the corner to the right beyond the small 17th-century outbuilding (also still standing) of Charlton House, beside the sign [PvdM].
