Sketches of bow and stern and details of Queen

Sketches of several parts of the British naval ship Queen, including the figurehead, starboard bow section and the starboard stern quarter, with annotations. These drawing were probably used for the oil painting depicting Queen Victoria's visit to the ship at Portsmouth on 1st March 1842, which is signed "R.S. Thomas Px 1842".

Part of Volume III of Robert Strickland Thomas’s sketchbooks and stored with PAH4369-PAH4406.
