Scale: 1:12. A full hull model of the Shetland ness yole Jeannie, made entirely in wood with metal and organic material fittings and painted and varnished in realistic colours and finishes. The hull is clinker-built, plank-on-frame, double-ended, painted white below the waterline and varnished above. Other hull details include black-painted top edges to the gunwales, projecting top of the stem post and top part of the rudder; pronounced keel; three thole pins on each of the port and starboard gunwales; slightly sickle-shaped rudder extending below the keel of the boat, the lower section of which is painted white; and tiller. The vessel is depicted fully rigged with a set lugsail on its single mast. The mast and yard are varnished wood and the sail made from off-white material, realistically sewn with cringles. Other fittings include floors, a set of six oars and a wooden water barrel. The model is mounted on a pair of wooden crutches and displayed on a rectangular wooden baseboard. On port and starboard bows and sail ‘LK.216.’. On port and starboard stern quarters ‘Jeannie’.
