Historic photographs and ship plans section: Christmas and New Year closure

Important information for visitors

Until summer 2025, there is a new visitor route at the National Maritime Museum while we carry out essential improvements to the Museum's roof. Most galleries will still be open as normal, and special exhibitions are currently free for all visitors. However, the Great Map and AHOY! will be closed for the duration of the works. This is just to notify readers and enquirers that the Historic Photographs and Ship Plans Section will be closed from 23 December 2009 to 4 January 2010.

All enquiries should be made to either plansandphotos@nmm.ac.uk or in writing to the section c/o the Museum address. The curators will respond in the new year.
