A collection of fourteen naval documents, comprising of letters, warrants, commissions, certificates and memorander, chiefly relating to the Admiralty or Navy Commissioners.

Includes a sick note certificate for William Cane, from HM DEFYANCE, who was sent to St Bartho Hospital upon the 12th of February 1710 for 'the rheumatimes and Seiahik pains' and not being cured, was discharged thence upon the 7th of June 1711. Dated at the Sick and Wounded Office this 7th day of June 1711. Also includes a letter signed by John Narbrough, John Godwin and William Hewer (Commissioned and Principall Officer for Managing the Affairs of his Majesties Navy), 16 November 1686 to the attendant storekeeper and clerk of the survey at Deptford. There are also included three official documents from the Commonwealth Navy period (undated, 26 February 1651/2 and 12 November 1653 respectively).
