Collection of documents relating to the ordnance office, Portsmouth, 1696-1712 and 1762.

Collection includes itemised claims for payment for work performed on behalf of the office, 1701, 1762, letters received received between 1696 and 1706 and a protection, circa 1700.
Also includes two letters signed by George Byng, January 1705/6, to the officers of the ordnance at Portsmouth. The collection comes with a xerox of several pages of notes about the documents, some with full transcriptions.
