Unlock your creative potential in this inspiring life drawing session with EVEWRIGHT, Royal Museums Greenwich's Practitioner in Residence. An acclaimed multidisciplinary artist, EVEWRIGHT's work champions Black British stories, prompting dialogue about what it means to be Black and British in the UK today.
This class focuses on the beauty of the Black aesthetic, working with Black life models to explore new perspectives and conversations. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, EVEWRIGHT will guide you through his personal tips and techniques for listening, looking and drawing.
At the end of the class, there will be an opportunity to share your work – and get valuable feedback – in a supportive 'show and tell' session. All materials are provided, and all skill levels are welcome.
This event is part of a wider series within the public programme accompanying Unbroken: Art Installation in the Ocean Court at the National Maritime Museum.
