We're running brand new digital sessions for Key Stages 2 and up from January 2026, as well as in-person Early Years and Key Stage 1 programming. On-site programming for KS2 and up is available to book now, and will be running in the summer term.

What we offer
Astronomy on-site schools programme
Bookings for our EYFS, KS1 and KS2 onsite schools programme for the 2026 Summer Term are open! Take a look at our on-site programme to see what sessions we have on offer. All sessions will take place at the National Maritime Museum.
Each Discovery Day will include a lunch space and a self-guided tour of the National Maritime Museum.

If you are interested in visiting the Royal Observatory for a self-guided visit only, you can enquire about this via our enquiry form.
We also teach GCSE Astronomy! This runs in person at the weekend over the course of one year, from September - May. Please email ROGEducation@rmg.co.uk for more information.
Expanded digital programme (nationwide)
Bring the Royal Observatory Greenwich Astronomers into your classroom, wherever you are in the UK. Our digital sessions are interactive, curriculum-linked, and led live by our expert astronomers and educators.
Cost:
- Solo workshop with an astronomer (just your class): £70
- Workshop Webinar with an astronomer (with other schools and classes): £15
- Solo workshops can be held on Teams or Zoom, and Workshop Webinars are Zoom only
