Join National Maritime Museum Musicians in residence Joe Danks & Aimee Leonard in a celebration of songs and stories connected to Greenwich, the museum and the sea.

About the concert

Climb aboard Cutty Sark for the launch of Joe’s album 'Seaspeak' - a musical response to the National Maritime Museum's vast collection. 

The wide breadth of material and stunning surroundings will make this an unforgettable evening of music!

This concert is supported by The English Folk Dance and Song Society and Help Musicians UK. The concert is a celebration of the EFDSS Musicians in Museums project at The National Maritime Museum.

The first song from the album 'Seaspeak' is called Sea Fever and features two poems from John Masefield's much loved 'Salt-water Poems & Ballads' collection, set to original music.
