Attacker (1941)

Scale 1:192. Plan is a copy of the first 5 pages of a booklet of as fitted drawings of the Attacker class escort carrier Attacker (1941). The drawing includes the Cover page (Page 1), the Dimensions and Data of the vessel (Page 2), an outboard profile view (Page 3), an inboard profile view (Page 4) and the island structures (Page 5).

Attacker was originally laid down as the cargo vessel "Steel Artisan", but converted while building to the Royal Navy escort carrier "Attacker" (served as assault carrier in the Mediterranean and Aegean). It was returned to the USA in 1946, converted to a passenger ship and renamed "Castel Forte", later "Fairsky", before being scrapped in 1980.
