Logbook of the VICTORY and MAGDALEN galley, Captain Robert Milligan Commander from Venice on 30 September 1722 towards Gonua and back to Venice on 8 February 1733. Diary kept onboard by a Merchant Seaman, from September 1719 to 1734, the first part of the logbook is missing and this sections ends with the Captain of the unknown vessel refusing to pay the seaman, dated 23 October 1719; second voyage on the good ship VICTORY with Captain Robert Milliagan as Second Mate on the agreed price of 10 dollars per month from Leghorn to Naples then on to Venius. Also includes Includes remarks on small journey into the Holy Land mentions Captain Robert Milligan.
