Receipt dated 9 May 1804 for 26 Africans from the ship ANN from Cape Mount, Kingston, Jamaica, bought by HM Government from George Kinghorn as recruits for HM's Second West India Regiment at Fort Augusta for £2,340 (at £90 per head). Also on the same sheet, a receipt of monies from Matthew Atkinson Esq, Agent General, by George Kinghorn for the same date.
