Apollo; Warship

Scale: Unknown. A model of Apollo made entirely of wood with metal fittings, partly painted in realistic colours with painted and drawn fittings and details. The hull, superstructure, gun mountings and turrets, boats, funnels and masts are painted light grey. The decks are unpainted. Two gun turrets are mounted forward and one aft. There are three funnels in line, the middle funnel being lozenge shape and the others are circular in section. All the funnels are vertical and have black tops. There are two tripod masts positioned fore and aft of the funnels and there are two ships' boats stowed either side of the central funnel. Painted along the hull are port holes denoting two decks. Vessel details are inscribed on the underside of the model.
