Santa Marina; Cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A model of the Santa Marina made entirely of wood with metal fittings, partly painted in realistic colours with painted and drawn fittings and details. The hull is painted pale grey with narrow red and white stripes at the waterline and a white painted superstructure. The bow is flared to accommodate a large foredeck largely uninterrupted and is strengthened towards the aft end. Most of the foredeck details are drawn apart from a derrick mast and boom. The superstructure is positioned aft and fittings include and enclosed bridge, a single funnel painted yellow with a black top and company logo, a main mast and two boats stowed either side of it. Vessel details are inscribed on the underside of the model.
