Sverdlov; Warship

Scale: Unknown. A model of the Sverdlov made entirely of wood with metal fittings, partly painted in realistic colours with painted and drawn fittings and details. The hull, superstructure, gun turrets, funnels, masts and boats are all painted pale grey. The decks are unpainted. Two gun turrets are mounted forwards and two are mounted aft, all of which rotate. The main superstructure is positioned forward amidships and fittings include a tall observation and communication tower, tripod mast and funnel with a black top. There is a second tripod mast and funnel aft of amidships and between the funnels are a nest of five boats are stowed and a launching derrick. Vessel details are inscribed on the underside of the model.
