Snipe; Warship

Scale: Unknown. A model of the Snipe made entirely of wood with metal fittings, partly painted in realistic colours with painted and drawn fittings and details. The hull, superstructure, guns, boats, funnel, and mast are painted pale grey, and the decks are unpainted. There are two gun turrets mounted forward and one mounted aft. The single funnel has a black top and there is a mast forward of it. Four ships' boats are stowed amidships. There are two rows of portholes painted on to the hull sides. Vessel details are inscribed on the underside of the model.
