Sir Jules; Cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A model of the Sir Jules made entirely of wood with metal fittings, partly painted in realistic colours with painted and drawn fittings and details. The hull is painted pale grey with a brick red stripe at the waterline, white bulwarks and superstructure. The decks are unpainted and the two large square cargo hatches are painted a dark grey. The long foredeck fittings includes has a foremast and a cargo hatch. The main superstructure is positioned amidships. The main cargo deck includes a cargo hatch and main mast. The aft superstructure fittings include a single short funnel painted black with two boats stowed either side of it. Vessel details are inscribed on the underside of the model.
