Surcouf; Warship

Scale: Unknown. A model of the Surcouf made entirely of wood with metal fittings, partly painted in realistic colours with painted and drawn fittings and details. The hull, superstructure, funnels, masts and armament are all painted pale grey. The decks are unpainted. There are two gun turrets mounted forward and two mounted aft. The main superstructure is positioned forward and includes the bridge. The two vertical funnels are positioned amidships, the aft one slightly shorter, both with black tops. A tall mast is positioned forward of the first funnel and a shorter mast is positioned forward of the second mast. There are four boats stowed either side of the funnels and a pair of anti aircraft guns mounted aft of the boats. Vessel details are inscribed on the underside of the model.
