Fishing vessel; Trawler

Scale: Unknown. A miniature waterline model of an unidentified post-Second World War trawler made entirely in wood with metal fittings and painted in realistic colours. A number of fittings and features have been drawn onto the model rather than depicted in three dimensions. The double-ended hull has a prominent forecastle and its main superstructure placed aft of amidships. The hull is painted buff at the waterline, black above with a white stripe running its entire length and bare wood top strakes and bulwarks. Fittings include anchor cable drawn onto the forecastle deck, and hatch covers drawn onto the main deck; foremast and mainmast; superstructure that extends virtually to the stern, painted mustard yellow with a white-painted open bridge deck that curves around the superstructure; and single black-painted funnel with white horizontal stripe located abaft the pilot house.
