Join us for a series of 20-minute environmental arts showcases as part of Climate Change Theatre Action 2025, a worldwide festival of short plays about the climate crisis. This festival brings communities together to inspire action for climate justice.
Highlights include a live reading of The Penguins, a comedy set in Antarctica by award-winning playwright Elspeth Tilley, and video stories from performance-makers in the Pacific and Polar regions. Interactive activities will also be available.
Performances take place in the Ocean Court space at the National Maritime Museum. This redesigned area is home to the Ocean Map – a giant floor map that highlights the importance of our blue planet.
This event is presented by the CoastARTS research project, Border Crossings, and the National Maritime Museum, in collaboration with Climate Change Theatre Action.
