A lateen-rigged Portuguese sailing vessel, Lisbon, 1856 [Portugal]

No. 10 in Fanshawe's Baltic and later album, 1843 - 83. Captioned by the artist on the album page below the image 'Lisbon. Decr. 1856'. The drawing depicts a two-masted Portuguese lateen-rigged boat, with brown sails, against a dark sky. Though shown on calm open water without a coast behind, it is presumably on the Tagus.
