Possibly Lieutenant Rawson of 'Discovery' (1873) with a dogwhip standing on the ice.

Possibly Lieutenant Rawson of 'Discovery' (1873) with a dogwhip standing on the ice floe to which the two ships were secured. In the background is Cape Collinson with part of the coastline of Richardson Bay. This is unlikely to be Cape Norton Shaw as the ships passed it quickly on the morning of 20 August 1875.
