Journal kept by Petty Officer Claude Powter (born 12 March 1889) during a journey from England, through France, to Malta, then his service on HMS AGAMEMNON and HMS PELORUS. Journey from Chatham Dockyard in November, 1917 after a farewell concert in the Sergents mess, through to Malta before changing ships. Includes numerous references to the WWI, and an epidemic of Spanish Flu on board the Pelorus.
