A journal kept by William Waunder on the proceedings of HMS WELLESLEY

A journal of HMS WELLESLEY which saw action in the First Opium War. The journal records the trial of a seaman on the charge of murdering a Chinese man. The seaman was sentenced to two years imprisonment.
